The Center has hosted theater productions, concerts, art classes, kid’s programs, recitals and receptions. The Performance Hall seats 308 people. The elegant Victorian Grand Ballroom seats up to 150 people. The Donald W Reynolds Theater seats 120 people.

The Nevada State Capitol Building was built in 1870 and is the second oldest Capitol Building west of the Mississippi. Boulder City is located 20 miles from Las Vegas near Hoover Dam. The city provides a more relaxed alternative to Las Vegas with a small town atmosphere, historic charm, and a family friendly environment. Boulder City Parks and Recreation has several venues available for events. The Recreation Center has two gymnasiums and two classrooms. ABC Park has a gym, a classroom and an amphitheater. Bicentennial Park is a seven-acre park with a gazebo bandstand and a children’s play area. Broadbent Park is a five-acre park with a multi-use building, swimming, racquetball, tennis, picnic areas, and play areas. Del Prado Park is a 2.5-acre park with a gazebo, playground equipment, and basketball courts. Hemenway Valley Park is a 10-acre park with gazebos, playground equipment, basketball courts, tennis courts, and softball fields. Oasis Park is a 5 acre park with gazebos, playground equipment, basketball courts, and a ball field. Veteran’s Memorial Park is a 25-acre park with gazebos, ball fields, volleyball courts, soccer fields, a skateboard and bike park, a splash park, and a fishing pond. Whalen Baseball Field and Bravo Softball Field cover about 7 acres.

Event Venues in Bullhead City, Arizona

Bullhead City had a record height of 132 degrees F in the shade on August 11, 1983, which earned the city its nickname, “Arizona’s Hottest Destination.” The city is across the Colorado River from Laughlin, Nevada and has an airport with service to Phoenix. Bullhead has five golf courses, and 21 RV parks. Area attractions include Grand Canyon National Park, the Lake Mead National Recreation area, the Colorado River, Hoover Dam, Davis Dam, the London Bridge, the Havasu National Wildlife Refuge, and the Virgin River Canyon. The Colorado River Historical Museum is located ½ mile north of the Laughlin bridge at Davis camp. The museum building was built in 1947. The museum’s collection includes photos, maps, Indian artifacts, an 1859 Steinway piano, gold mine exhibits, minerals and gemstones, a fossil snail, a railway exhibit, and Bullhead City’s first post office. The museum has a wedding chapel and reception area and hosts indoor and outdoor weddings.
