Riverside Resort is a great place to hold events such as weddings, reunions, retreats, conventions, seminars, and meetings. The resort has over 15,000 square feet of meeting and event space. The Starview Room is 8,000 square feet and accommodates up to 450 guests. The Harbor Port Rooms are three 858 square feet rooms that can be combined for larger events to accommodate 120 guests. The Mirror Room is a 1,700 square feet room that accommodates up to 80 guests. The Bridgeview Room is 1,080 square feet room and seats up to 50 guests. The Gold Room is a 975 square feet and seats up to 40 guests. Events can also take place on the U.S.S. Riverside, a 119-passenger yacht that offers tours of the Colorado River and Davis Dam.

The Edgewater Hotel and Casino is a 26-story tower with a hotel, a 24-hour casino, a beauty salon, a fitness center, a pool, an arcade, a river walk, live entertainment, and restaurants. Edgewater has 13,869 square feet of meeting and event space. The five rooms for events include the Rio Vista Room, which can accommodate 350 guests. Outdoor events can take place in the pool area. Groups needing 10 or more rooms qualify for discounted room rates.

Harrah’s Laughlin has exciting gaming, 1,505 guestrooms and suites, live entertainment, a salon and day spa, a private beach, two outdoor swimming pools, a fitness center, a gift shop, and great restaurants. Harrah’s has 7,000 square feet of meeting and event space. The Grand Ballroom is 7,000 square feet and can accommodate up to 700 people. The Ballroom can be divided into smaller spaces ranging from 800 to 1,920 square feet. Outdoor events can take place on the beach.

River Palms is a great place to hold weddings, banquets, receptions, meetings and other events with up to 800 people. The resort has 10,868 square feet of event space.

Tropicana Laughlin has over 1,000 comfortable guestrooms and suites, a pool and spa, gift shops, award-winning restaurants, live entertainment, and thrilling gaming. Tropicana is a great place to hold weddings, banquets, receptions, meetings, and other events with 14,340 square feet of meeting and event space. Tropicana can accommodate events with up to 500 people.

With all of the casinos, resorts, golf courses, and wedding chapels, there are a lot of places to hold events in Vegas. Still, there are other options too that should not be ignored.

Las Vegas Convention Center

The Las Vegas Convention Center is a 3.2 million square feet facility with 2 million square feet of event space, 144 meeting rooms to accommodate meetings from 20 to 2,500 people, and a huge grand lobby and reception area. The center has a full service kitchen, two restaurants, and parking space for over 5,000 cars. The Convention Center is located close to over 100,000 guestrooms.

Las Vegas Parks and Recreation

Las Vegas Parks and Recreation can rent any of the city owned parks out for large special events including weddings and corporate outings. Large event rentals must be made 60 to 120 days in advance. Gazebos are available to rent for events with 100 people or less at Flores Park, Nature Discovery Park, Goynes Park, and Desert Horizons. Gazebo rentals must be made 30 days in advance.

Springs Preserve is a desert Oasis located three miles from the Las Vegas strip. Springs Preserve has over 50,000 square feet of flexible space for meetings and events including beautiful settings for wedding ceremonies and receptions. Event spaces range from 255 to 13,000 square feet. Group tours are also available.
