Fort Ross State Historic Park was a Russian-American Company fort from 1812 to 1841and includes a historic chapel and several other historic renovated, restored, and reconstructed buildings. The park has picnic tables available for picnics and events. The park has 21 campsites available for overnight visitors.

The 600 square feet Fireside Lounge accommodates up to 30 people. The 312 square feet Executive Waterfront Retreats accommodate 9 to 12 people.

The Buffano Library accommodates up to 12 people. The Events Lawn accommodates up to 120 people.
