Bingen, Washington is located on State Route 14, 60 miles east of Portland, in the Columbia River Gorge. The town was founded in 1892 and is an Amtrak stop on the route between Vancouver and Pasco. Bingen and the surrounding area are a wonderful place to enjoy outdoor activities such as skiing, snowmobiling, kayaking, hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, and horseback riding. Sakura Ridge is located near Hood River on the Washington side of the Columbia River. The historic Bed and Breakfast was built in 1860 and has seven rooms. The house provides an intimate, historic location for events.
