Sacramento is home to the California State University Sacramento as well as other schools, and learning centers. Schools and learning centers often rent their auditoriums and classrooms for conferences and other events. Workshops and classes are also sometimes available as an activity for groups.

California State University Sacramento has several spaces available to rent for events including athletic facilities, auditoriums, classrooms, and outdoor spaces. The Stadium seats sporting events and performance with up to 20,000 people. Additional athletic facilities available for events include gymnasiums, racquetball and tennis courts, fields, a track, and swimming pools. University Theatre accommodates up to 415 people. The Playwrights Theatre accommodates up to 200 people. The Studio Theatre accommodates up to 60 people. The Outdoor Theatre is also available. The Music Recital Hall accommodates up to 315 people. The Band Rehearsal Room accommodates up to 300 seats. The Choral Rehearsal Room accommodates up to 190 people. Classrooms capacities range from 20 to 150 people. Outdoor spaces are available for events with capacities ranging from 75 to 150 people.

The Sacramento State Alumni Center is located on the South side of Sacramento State’s campus. The Center is available for weddings, conferences, and other events. The 4,800 square feet Capitol Room accommodates up to 400 people for receptions or 300 people for banquets. The 250 square feet Board Room seats 10 people.
